The entire PAL organization has withdrawn from the LIAHL effective the end of the 2012-2013 season. All PAL Tier I, II and III teams must now play a schedule for the 2013-2014 season independent of the LIAHL. As a result of PAL leaving the LIAHL they are no longer subject to the LIAHL Player Movement Rules, which limit the number of players an LIAHL team can take from a competitor team to two (2) players per season.

Any player who desires to try-out for any PAL team must have a NYSAHA player release. Any player rostered on any PAL team during the 2012-2013 season STILL needs a release from PAL to try out somewhere else. The two (2) player movement rule will not apply for any player moving to or from any PAL team. Any LIAHL team is now permitted to roster any number of PAL players that they feel are qualified to play for them at any level.

Whats New

Congratulations to the LI Royals PW team for winning the NYSAHA Tournament at Tier I. They defeated another LIAHL team, The Westchester Express PW's, in a close 5 to 4 game.
The NYC Cyclones PW Tier II team made it to the semi finals, but were defeated by the Niagara Junior Purple Eagles who went on to become the division Champion. Aviator had a strong showing but ran up against the NJPE earlier in their qualifying games.
The Palisades Predators were eliminated in the PW Tier III Championship game by Tri-Town. The semi final game leading to the championship was played between Palisades and Bronxville. A strong showing by the East Section.
The LI Gulls Bantam Tier I team tore up the competition until they met the Buffalo Regals (Jr. Sabors) in the Championship round and were defeated 5 - 0.
Our Tier II Bantam Nassau and Viper teams encountered strong competition from the Western and Northern teams in the tournament.
Congratulations to the Millbrook Bantam Tier III team who defeated Chazy (North) 5 -3 to win the championship game.
Congratulations to all the teams that competed in the 2013 NYSAHA Tournament.
